| Assistance needed for the Foundation phase at Martie du Plessis school |

The Foundation phase teachers of Martie du Plessis School has made it a priority to upgrade the playground of the foundation phase learners. The learners and the teachers are proud of their playground and have made a lot of progress with heir project. In 2009 they launched a massive fundraising campaign and had as a guest speaker Hannon Bothma, the Glamguru. The evening was very successful and the playground was upgraded with the profit from this function. The funds have now been depleted and there is so much more to do. SA Shadeports + Canvas donated a big shade net to give cover to the learners when they are outside. Funds are now needed to erect a steel framework for the net to fit over. It must be a sturdy structure with the pillars cemented into the ground. The same firm would be able to do the installation, but more funds are needed.
